A Weekend of Light and Connection: Prescott Shabbaton Recap

Our Prescott Shabbaton was an unforgettable blend of adventure, warmth, and inspiration. From scenic hikes along the stunning, rock-lined shores of Lake Watson to the cozy bunkhouses that became our Shabbos home, every moment felt uplifting and alive.

Students experienced deep, heartfelt farbrengens with Rabbi Bryski that stretched late into the night, filling the atmosphere with meaning, vulnerability, and genuine connection.

Motzei Shabbos brought a spirited Melave Malka, highlighted by powerful words from Rabbi Filler, and capped off with our electric ice-skating outing — a true kiddush Hashem and a shining display of Jewish pride and joy in a place where so few Jews are found.

It was a weekend of light, bonding, and memories we won’t soon forget.

Yud Tes Kislev: A Chassidishe Celebration Filled With Chayus! 

Yud Tes Kislev was celebrated with tremendous chayus and joy! The festivities began on Wednesday night with a meaningful farbrengen led by Rabbi Wilschansky, setting the tone for an uplifting experience. On Thursday, students enjoyed a full day of inspirational programming, each activity adding depth, connection, and warmth to this special yom tov. The day culminated in a festive seudas yom tov at Chabad of Paradise Valley, where Rabbi Shlomo Levertov shared a heartfelt and empowering talk.

🕎 Chanukah Is in the Air!

Our Chanukah Committee is busy preparing an exciting and interactive program for everyone to enjoy! In addition to our in-school celebrations, we invite all students to join these special out-of-school events:

• Monday Evening – Menorah Parade on a Party Bus! Beis Chana will proudly join Chabad’s annual Menorah Parade on a fun and festive party bus!

🕠 Meet at 5:30 PM at Chabad.

• Thursday Evening – Chanukah Party at the CTeen Lounge

🕖 7:00 PMStudents will enjoy delicious Chanukah treats in a beautifully decorated “winter wonderland” setting—a perfect way to celebrate together!
