Simcha, Emunah, and Preparation: A Meaningful Week at Beis Chana
This week at Beis Chana was filled with meaningful learning, inspiration, and joyful moments as students dedicated themselves to in-depth study while beginning to prepare for Pesach.
In connection with our theme for the month of Adar—simcha and emunah—we had the privilege of hearing an inspiring talk from Mrs. Rebecca Sarchi. She courageously shared the story of the untimely passing of her dear son and spoke about maintaining emunah and simchas hachaim while navigating such a difficult nisayon. The girls were deeply moved by her story and by the powerful message of strength and faith that she shared.
On Wednesday, all participants in Achos for the month of Shevat enjoyed a delicious Oreo bar in recognition of their growth and achievements over the past few weeks. It was a sweet way to celebrate the effort and dedication the girls invested in the program.
Today we held a special program in honor of Chof-Hey Adar, highlighting the life of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka and the concept of Mivtza Yom Holedes. The program introduced the ten Minhagei Yom Holedes in a fun and interactive way. The girls also enjoyed a meaningful video and delicious birthday-themed treats, making the learning both inspiring and memorable.
Students are also encouraged to participate in saying Tehillim for Shabbos Mevorchim Nissan and to attend shul on this special Shabbos, which is also Shabbos Chazak and Shabbos HaChodesh.
Looking ahead, on Monday evening Beis Chana will host a meaningful farbrengen in honor of Chof-Hey Adar at the home of Tamar Ohana at 7:00 PM. Our guest speaker, Mrs. Menucha Cohen, will discuss the significance of a person’s birthday as a reminder that each individual is important and needed in the world, with a focus on the powerful idea of “בשבילי נברא העולם”.
As we continue through the joyful month of Adar and prepare for the upcoming Yom Tov of Pesach, we look forward to many more opportunities for growth, inspiration, and meaningful experiences together.
