Reflecting on the Rebbetzin’s Legacy

This week, our school community focused on the life of the Rebbetzin and her profound impact on our lives as Lubavitcher chassidim. In honor of Chof Beis Shvat, we learned a beautiful sicha that outlined the three tekufos in the avodah of a chossid: the period until Yud Shvat, from Yud Alef Shvat until Chof Beis Shvat, and the era after Chof Beis Shvat. Through this learning, we gained a deeper appreciation of the Rebbetzin’s unique and essential role in the Rebbe’s leadership and in the avodah of chassidim around the world.

To bring her legacy to life, we enjoyed a fun and interactive program highlighting the Rebbetzin’s many accomplishments and exceptional qualities. It was inspiring to explore her strength, humility, dedication, and quiet leadership.

On Tuesday night, we gathered for a beautiful and meaningful Chof Beis Shvat event honoring Shaina Welner, Shaina a”h bas R’ Yaakov Chaim sheyichye. The girls prepared and elegantly served a delicious meal, creating a warm and uplifting atmosphere. We were especially moved by the heartfelt words shared by our own Moussele Lazarus, who spoke about the privilege and responsibility of carrying the special name of our Rebbetzin.

Celebrating Shlichus

In addition to our focus on the Rebbetzin, we dedicated time this week to the Kinus Hashluchos, reflecting on the tremendous zechus of being a shluchah of the Rebbe. Today, we had the opportunity to hear directly from three of our own mothers — Mrs. Serberanski, Mrs. Jacobson, and Mrs. Schapiro — during a meaningful Zoom panel. Each shared her personal shlichus journey, offering insight, inspiration, and a glimpse into the dedication and passion behind their work.

Looking Ahead

Excitement is building as practices continue nightly for our upcoming production on Monday, ו' אדר (February 23).

We are also excited for our Mother-Daughter Brunch on Tuesday, ז' אדר (February 24) from 9:00 am–12:00 pm. This meaningful event is mandatory for all students, and there will be no school for the remainder of the day.

It has been a week filled with reflection, inspiration, and growth — and we look forward to continuing to carry the Rebbetzin’s legacy forward in all that we do.
