A Week of Inspiration, Learning, and Chesed at Beis Chana!
This week at Beis Chana was filled with meaningful learning, exciting new initiatives,
and opportunities to put our Chassidishe values into action!
A Splash of Inspiration: י״ז חשון
Our week began with a splash! On Monday morning, our students were greeted by our
shluchos, who welcomed them with a refreshing mist of water and the sound effects of
rain, setting the scene for י״ז חשון, the day the Mabul began.
The girls then enjoyed a meaningful slideshow presentation on the maamar Mayim
Rabim, exploring the deeper significance of the Mabul and its connection to our avodas
Hashem. The presentation offered food for thought and an opportunity to reflect on the
lessons we can apply in our own lives.
Chitas Club Is Here!
Our new Chitas Club launched with great excitement! Students eagerly visited our very
own Chitas Wall to borrow a Chayeinu and enjoy learning Chitas with their friends
during recess or lunch. All participants received a special treat to celebrate the launch!
We look forward to seeing this initiative inspire our girls to strengthen their daily Chitas
learning and enjoy the special experience of learning together.
Putting Ahavas Yisroel into Action: Our Chesed Program
On Thursday, we officially launched our Chesed Program! As part of Beis Chana’s
extracurricular requirements, every student is expected to complete one hour of chesed
each week and record her activities on a monthly tracking form.
The program began with a beautiful video highlighting the central role of Ahavas Yisroel
in the life of every Yid and Chossid. Through examples from the Rebbe’s life, the girls
saw just how deeply the Rebbe cared for every single Yid and how every person
deserves our love, attention, and concern.
Following the presentation, students received their chesed assignments, along with a
special Kind Bar treat!
Chesed begins next week! We are excited to see our girls translate the lessons of
Ahavas Yisroel into action through thoughtful, meaningful acts of kindness and care for
others.
Celebrating כ׳ חשון: The Rebbe Rashab
Today, in honor of כ׳ חשון, the girls enjoyed a meaningful and exhilarating program
celebrating the life and accomplishments of the Rebbe Rashab.
The program focused on the special privilege and responsibility of being students in
Tomchei Temimim. As students who carry on the legacy of this unique yeshivah, we
have both the זכות and the אחריות to embrace our role with joy, enthusiasm, and a
strong sense of purpose.
May the inspiration of כ׳ חשון encourage our girls to appreciate the precious opportunity
they have to learn, grow, and become true Temimim, carrying this legacy forward in their
daily lives.
At Beis Chana, every week brings new opportunities to grow in learning, strengthen our
connection to Chassidus, and make a difference in the lives of others. We look forward
to another wonderful week of growth and inspiration!
